I’m going to write a script. I already have the name for it: Filmado con Odio (Filmed with Hatred)

I want it to be a homage to Argenis Rodríguez’s book Escrito con Odio (Written with Hatred), which is a now forgotten but fiercily passional and merciless text against the elite of Venezuela, political, literary and cultural, and against the idiosyncrasy of the Venezuelan people in general, which is to be a brainless macho.

I plan this to be a stream-of-consciousness thing. It will probably be about a malandro (generic word for thugh, thief, murderer) or about one of those transsexual prostitutes that slice each other’s faces every night on the streets. The risk of this would be to get close to these people. The second possibility is more plausible, though, as I’d just pay the prostitute some money to share his/her story with me.
